Evidence is confirming that along with being physically sedentary, nutritionally sugar is the primary factor causing not just obesity, but also chronic & lethal disease on the rise. Excess sugar is now proven to be toxic to your body; leading us to accept that chronic inflammation is a major cause of most cancers, in the same way as we accept that smoking & alcohol abuse are direct causes of lung cancer and cirrhosis of the liver. Chronic inflammation is arising from an immune system response that’s out of control. This means that inflammation sets the stage for heart attacks, most strokes, peripheral artery disease, & even vascular dementia, a common cause of memory loss. Harsh but true & NOT to get dismissed any longer! Our ballooning rates of allergies, obesity, IBS, & chronic pain don’t lie… Intestinal bloating, bouts of diarrhea or constipation, gas & pain, heartburn & acid reflux are early signs of an inflamed digestive tract. Systemic or chronic inflammation has a domino effect that can be a serious detriment to your health!
